TL;DR - if they have a case for your phone model, just buy it.
So, since I've been using a Latercase on my Pixel 6 for the past 3 years (and the case is still in one piece and saved my phone A LOT of times) buying one for my new phone was a no brainer. I ordered it before I bought my phone. 'Thanks' to a mishap by my local post office it ended up being returned to sender. So I reached out to Latercase support and told them what happened and asked if they can re-send it once it arrives back and tbh I thought it would take a while until I would hear back from them but surprise#1 they responded hella fast. surprise#2 they acted like decent humans and offered to send me a replacement asap (without waiting for the package to arrive back) 🤯
In the meantime I bought a case from Google, a great product by the way but it made me hate my phone. Funny how they came up with a case that cancels everything they designed.
But today, my new case arrived and since I put it on I don't want to stop holding my phone. BRILLIANT! Papper thin, great fit with way better protection for the camera bar and it'a flush with the screen (I use a tempered glass screen protector). I now can hear and feel the buttons on the side and the grip is just on the sweet spot. Color wise I went with Midnight - love the matte finish.
